This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to all orders placed on StemToysOnline.com (“Website”).

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • Ireland
  • Selected EU destinations (availability displayed at checkout)
  • US and Canada

If your destination is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will advise whether shipping can be arranged.

2. Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays).

Processing includes order verification, picking, packing, and dispatch. During peak periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas), dispatch may take longer and we will provide updates where appropriate.

Cut-off Times: If a cut-off time is displayed at checkout, it is an estimate and not a guarantee of same-day dispatch.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times (from dispatch):

  • Ireland: approximately 2–5 business days
  • European Union: approximately 2–10 business days
  • US and Canada: approximately 2-21 business days

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control, including carrier delays, weather events, customs/transport disruptions (where relevant), peak-season congestion, or address issues.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the total shipment weight and destination.

4.1 Standard Shipping Rates (Weight-Based)

  • Shipping cost starts at €10 (base rate in Europe)
  • Shipping cost starts at €30 (base rate in North America)
  • + €3 for every additional 500g (or part thereof)

Example: If your order weight increases into the next 500g tier, the applicable increment will apply.

4.2 Free Shipping Threshold

  • Free Shipping on orders over €200 (subject to checkout eligibility and delivery location)

Free shipping applies to standard shipping only and may exclude special delivery services where available.

5. Delivery Address Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is accurate and complete at checkout, including:

  • correct Eircode/postcode
  • apartment/unit number where applicable
  • telephone number for delivery coordination

We are not liable for failed delivery, delays, or additional fees resulting from inaccurate or incomplete delivery details provided by the customer.

6. Dispatch Confirmation & Tracking

Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking details by email after dispatch. Tracking availability depends on the carrier service selected.

7. Split Shipments

Where items are sourced or packed separately (e.g., availability differences), we reserve the right to ship items in multiple parcels. In such cases:

  • you will not be charged additional shipping fees beyond what was agreed at checkout, unless you request a change.

8. Missed Deliveries, Refusals & Return-to-Sender

If a delivery is missed, refused, or returned to sender due to:

  • incorrect address
  • failure to collect from a depot
  • refusal without valid legal basis
  • repeated failed delivery attempts

we may (at our discretion) either:

  • re-ship the order (shipping fees may apply), or
  • issue a refund minus applicable shipping and return handling costs (where permitted by law).

This does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer law.

9. Risk and Ownership (Title)

9.1 Risk

Under EU consumer law, the risk of loss or damage remains with us until the goods are delivered to you (or to a person nominated by you to take possession).

9.2 Title

Ownership of goods passes to you once we have received full payment and goods have been dispatched, subject to applicable law.

10. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us promptly if:

  • your parcel appears damaged
  • items are missing
  • the wrong item was supplied

To help us resolve the issue efficiently, please provide:

  • order number
  • photographs of the parcel and the damaged item(s) (if relevant)
  • description of the problem

We may offer repair, replacement, or refund in line with your statutory rights and the nature of the issue.

11. Customs, Duties and Taxes (If Applicable)

For deliveries within Ireland and most EU destinations, customs duties generally do not apply. If any import charges apply due to exceptional circumstances or destination rules, these will be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.
